Thassos is a unique island that is worth visiting at least once in your life! It is located in the North Aegean opposite the coasts of Eastern Macedonia and its beaches are 115 km long. Thassos is suitable for family vacations but the island can also be enjoyed by couples, since there are activities for all types of travelers.
HANG AROUND LIMENAS
Limenas is the capital of Thassos and a part of the island that you should definitely visit. It is only 12 km away from Skala and you can easily go there by car. Limenas has a picturesque style with alleys where you can walk, do your shopping or relax in one of the dozens of cafes and restaurants.
WATER SPORTS
Those who are involved in water sports will love Thassos! On the beaches of the island you can do all kinds of water sports such as water skiing, diving, parasailing or anything else you can imagine. You can also have fun with the various inflatable water games found on many of the island’s organized beaches.
HIKING
Thassos is an island of natural beauty and several areas full of green, so it is an ideal place for hiking. There are several paths and routes that you can either take for a more relaxing walk enjoying the landscape, or choose them for exercise. Near the sea but also in the inland of the island you will find wonderful places.
CYCLING

The island is the right destination for those who love cycling as there are many routes that you can explore with your bike. In our hotel you will find a map of the island with suggested routes, a safe place to park your bike and a set of tools. If you do not have your own bike you can rent (from a collaborating company at an additional cost). Moreover, we can prepare a lunchbox with fruit, toast, energy drinks etc upon request (with additional charge) to take with you on your excursion.
Thassos has an intense nightlife for all tastes! On the island you will find restaurants, bars and clubs where you can dine, have a relaxing drink or have fun until the morning. Especially in Skala, in Limenas or in Limenaria you will find various types of places for entertainment. Also, the various beach bars organize parties where you can have fun by the sea.
In Thassos you will taste delicious dishes with local, quality ingredients, as the island has a rich gastronomy. It is worth trying some of the traditional recipes such as tatarka, stuffed zucchini flowers and delicious spoon sweets. Depending on your preferences, in Thassos you will find taverns and restaurants by the sea as well as in its mountainous areas under the shade of tall plane trees.
